Ansis Ataols Bērziņš


    This Web server is created by me, Ansis Ataols Bērziņš, with financial support of Soros foundation.
    I was born in Leningrad, Russia, in May 23 1975; live in Riga, Latvia.
    I have mathematical education, so programming and Web is not a problem for me. If you have interest also about other my computer-related works, you could visit my programmer's homepage.
    I am closely connected to folklore already from 13-year's age, when became to learn folk dancing, singing and kokle playing. From 1990 until 1995 I dance in folklore dance group Dandari, since 1995 I lead folklore band Maskačkas spēlmaņi.

    Since 1990 I actively participate in activities of the Riga dance club.
    I play several folk music instruments, including kokle, miscellaneous squeeze-boxes, (ievina, peterburzhskaya, hromka, bayan, accordion), pipes, bagpipe and others.
